Amy Roberts (co-founder) is a community volunteer, wife to Matt, and mom to 3 wonderful children. She received her nursing degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and worked in the pediatric ICU at Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville, TN. She is the Special Needs Coordinator at the Steiner Ranch campus of Hill Country Bible Church and feels so blessed by the experience. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and is currently working to get her nursing license back to active status after 16 years of being a stay-at-home mom!
William “Biff” Farrell (co-founder) is an attorney in Austin. He and his wife Cris have been married for twelve years and have two children, Hannah and Hank. Biff and Cris finally moved to Austin in 2012 after trying to make the move for 20 years. Biff is active in his community and serves as PTA president for River Ridge Elementary School, is a board member of the Steiner Ranch Neighborhood Association and is a t-ball coach. He loves playing golf and watching any and all Longhorn sporting events.
Elizabeth Carrero is a nonprofit professional and community volunteer. She and her family moved to Austin from Nashville in 2015 where she spent 15 years in the nonprofit community and loved every minute! She was born and raised in Florida and received a Liberal Arts degree from the University of Central Florida. She and her husband Elvin have two daughters.
Melissa Dorr is a native Texan who has lived in Austin for 26 years. She and her husband, Phil, stay extremely busy with their 2 children, Daniel and Grace, and dog Lilly. Melissa graduated from UT Medical Branch with a degree in Physical Therapy and worked as a pediatric PT for many years. The greatest challenge and highlight of her career as a PT was working in a Romanian orphanage with children with severe physical challenges. She is currently a stay at home mom and volunteers as the PTA President at Steiner Ranch Elementary. Melissa’s passion is advocating for all children, especially for those with special needs.
Melissa Miltonberger is an attorney and community volunteer, and is excited to be in back in Texas after 15 years in Chicago. She received her BBA from Baylor University and her law degree from Loyola University Chicago. She has been involved with several non-profit organizations, Junior League of Chicago, Music Theater Workshop, Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Program, and Jewish Community Centers of Chicago. She and her husband Neil have four daughters (which includes a set of triplets) and her fifth child, a rambunctious chocolate Labrador.
Monique Burr is a devoted mother and wife. Her husband, Keith, and their two sons moved to Austin in 2014 from Fort Lauderdale. A native Floridian, Monique received her bachelors degree from Florida Atlantic University in Secondary Education. She taught 7th grade social studies and coached the girls volleyball team for 6 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, the innovative Austin food scene, and staying physically active.
Ainsley King is a Louisiana native that moved to Austin from Atlanta with her husband in 2011. She is devoted mother to her daughter age 3 and son age 7. Ainsley attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received a degree in kinesiology and played collegiate soccer. She has been involved in organizations like Junior League of Atlanta and Night to Shine. Ainsley enjoys running, staying active in her children’s schools and being true to her Cajun roots.
Don Dumbacher (Co-founder) is the former Steiner Ranch Campus Pastor for Hill Country Bible Church in Austin. He and his wife, Shelli, met at THE Ohio State University and have been married for 27 years and have four adult children. Don and Shelli moved to Austin in 2014 and still cannot figure out why it took them so long! Don enjoys reading Charles Dickens, listening to Bob Dylan, and watching the Bulls, Hawkeyes, Reds and Buckeyes. He also watches the Bengals but doesn’t enjoy it.
